pumpkins, pumpkins

we didn't make it to the pumpkin patch this year, but i still needed pumpkins for the porch. i figured this stand at a local parking lot kinda still counted. jenna was overwhelmed by all the pumpkins and had fun picking one, changing her mind, and picking another about a zillions times.

can you believe that we didn't get around to carving them?? i had thought we might paint them this year, but that didn't happen either.

oh well.
next year, i'm sure both kids will be more than happy to help make cute painted pumpkins. for now, the two we got will just continue to decorate our porch.
