Facebook was crazy with everyone doubting the 'Blizzard Warning' that was popping up everywhere on February 19th. It was cold, but really, a blizzard?!?!
Come February 20th, it snowed! It 'snows' in areas of Tucson about once a year, but 2013 so far has been the 'snowiest'. At our other house, we got snow that stuck around for about an hour, but it's unheard of at our altitude here in Marana (it's just under 2000 feet).
It began snowing as I was driving the girls home from carpool just after 11. It was raining one second, and then turned to big, fluffy flakes. TWO HOURS later, it let up.
Beautiful!
I think I got a few better 'white out' pictures on my iPad... but wanted to record proof that we survived the Blizzard of 2013.
