on top of the world
okay, maybe just on top of seattle, but still pretty cool! we started our day in seattle at none other than the space needle. the view was amazing! we hung out in the observatory for just over an hour. jenna had some cereal and peaches up there, and a slew of admirers. dave and i could not understand why these cute asian ladies would not let go of her finger! we tried to walk towards another display, and they just kept following us and talking to her and each other. needless to say, dave had to take a picture. jenna was a really good sport most of the day. it was mu
ch colder than she was used to and she would fall asleep in her stroller just to be jostled awake again. from the space needle we walked around the seattle center, and watched this awesome fountain before boarding the monorail. (remember that simpsons episode?) the monorail dropped us off just a few blocks away from the famous farmers market- pikes place. the market was blocks and blocks of crafts, lots of flowers (beautiful tulips that were $1 each!) , fruit, and fresh seafood. we didn't get to see any fish being thrown, but we did see some that seemed familiar from our 
hours of watching the deadliest catch. we had lunch at the market- fish and chips and crusty crab cakes- and then had to find o
ur way over to the aquarium just as it began to rain. the seattle aquarium was really awesome! we have talked about taking jenna to sea world, but figured this could save us a trip since we were already here! we watched an octopus, sea otters, and lots of fish. i honestly don't know if jenna was looking at the fish or her own reflection in the glass, but she seemed to like it. we loved seattle and would like to go back some day to explore some more.

Looks like FUN!! And sea world is fun at age 18 months! That is when we took both Jordan and Kenzie and they loved it. It is fun at any age after that too. I love love love sea world it is one of my favorites.
How cool! I LOVE going to aquariums! I wish there was one closer! And really, is it any wonder that Jenna gets admirers everywhere she goes? - she's just too pretty!
My sister lived in Seatle for a few years and I went to visit her a few times, I toally recognize that fountain (in the summertime its swarming with kids running through it!) and Pikes Fish Market! So cool! I love Seatle! I'm glad you guys had a good time!
