excited to learn. i picked out my flat quarters and bought a rotary cutter (half off), but soon discovered that quilting is hard. i tried to give up within the first half-hour, but held out awhile longer. when i really gave up and tried to
leave i was stopped by my friend mary, and told that i couldn't leave. um, why not? because a bunch of the girls from the ward were taking my out for dinner as a kinda 'moving out of the ward' celebration. apparently mary had arranged everything with dave, and i was non the wiser. we cleaned up after theactivity and 11 of us went to applebee's for yummy snacks. they had all made arrangements for their kids too! it was a fun staying up WAY past my bedtime, and sneaking in after 10, when dave and jenna were both sound asleep.last night i had one of my laurels come babysit for my cranky teething
baby so that david and i could go out to eat and swing by the grocery store
(i know, hot date huh?). i had a delicious bacon cheese burger, and was
very happy. when we got home, jenna was not crying, but she had cried for
about half of the 2 hours we were gone. silly kid.

i desperately want a double jogging stroller. i feel trapped without one, and i know i will use it alot when we are in the new house and it cools down outside. our neighborhood has parks and walking paths everywhere, and i am excited to get these little ones out.
i really want this fancy one, but dave told me (and i agree) that we do not have $400-500 to spend on a stroller. so we are searching craigslist and ebay, reading consumer reports, researching costumer reviews on amazon... you know, trying to be smart shoppers.
what else, what else? oh, the packing thing. it's not fun. i have tried closing my eyes, an
dwishing it all in boxes. it didn't work. we have maybe a dozen boxes packed. dave will help tomorrow, and it will be more manageable with only jenna distracting me. but i am super excited about our trip to lowe's that is planned for tomorrow too. we are buying fans and blinds. last fall, when dave got one of his bonuses, we got a $500 gift card to lowe's in anticipation of this day. so yippee!
but before our shopping trip, i have a facial scheduled for 9am tomorrow. reina and i are
going over to the beauty college and i could not be more excited. i think the stress of moving
and having 3 kids with me for 5-8 hours each day has caused me to break out. yeah- annoying.
i am really looking forward to some pampering, and it only cost $22! yippee!
it's been a good one, busy

I am so happy for you as well! I can't wait to come and see your new house!!! I wish I could stay home and take a baby on walks to the park.... some day! Oh and Lowes is such a fun store, Home Depot too, but we always spend way too much money!
Saw you have the BOB duallie on your wishlist - my family just bought it for us and IT IS SOOOO WORTH IT!!!! I went away for 1/2 the week and told Jeff I missed the stroller more than him :) My family found it for $485 (including shipping) on eBay - I so hope you get to get one, it is the best stroller EVER!
