dave made a joke the other day that if we have 6 kids (keep dreaming honey), i will spend more than 4 years of my life pregnant. and then if you have to add the time that you are nursing, at least 6 months each (more like 9-12) - that's at least 90 months that your body is not all yours- 7.5 years. ( i'm going to try not to calculate the added years of one kid or another hanging on your legs while your cooking, or watching you while you shower/ go to the bathroom )

It makes you more grateful for our mom doesn't it. Then think about how she is still dealing with us, she still after all these years can not get away..... Once you have one, you will never have just you again.
Hooray for breaking free from the suckling child! But seriously, nothing is more fun when your 2 year old applauds when you pee. Enjoy her while she is little; soon enough she will utter the dreaded words, "Mom - I can do it myself."
