we were unsuccessful at finding a local egg hunt in town that wasen't going to cost us , so we had some friends over. their little guy is just 2, and him and jenna were pretty equally matched at collecting eggs. sweet ethan kept picking up eggs and putting them in jenna's basket!

she seemed to know just what to do. i was glad that she didn't discover there was candy inside until we got back to the house, or else it could have taken all evening to get the eggs picked up.

it had rained that morning, and actually sprinkled on us a little during our short hunt, but that didn't slow them down.

the egg decorating was mostly my gig. dave plopped a few eggs into mugs, and miss jenna was only interested in scribbling invisible crayon on one or two eggs. i tried to get creative... but gave up. maybe next year.
*sorry the formatting is super weird. i can't figure out how to get the pictures alligned, and would love it if the window was bigger to move stuff around. any tips would be great.*

I have a sling - it's yours. Stop soliciting others - use mine. :)
Jenna and her friend probably enjoyed the "home-made" Easter egg hunt to any other one you could find. In my experience, those are crazy crowded with grabby, selfish little people. And their kids are just as bad! :)
As for formatting issues, please pass on any advice. That drives me crazy too.
Jenna is to cute! We had our own easter egg hunt too. Brayden practiced at my mom's house, then we took him outside and he just threw the eggs on the ground instead of in his bucket.
How fun. :)
