for the last week she has been repeating something over and over to her dad and i, and we just didn't know what she was saying. FINALLY we figured it out! it appears that Dora is teaching our girl more than just sequencing and 'when you see swipper...', she is learning spanish! i kid you not! she now says, "help! ayuda!" when she's climbing onto the bed and wants to get down. she pretends to get stuck under the table and yells, "ayuda me!" i'm so glad that we finally realized what she was saying!
she feel asleep today in the car on the way home from running errands. i was feeding her nuggets and french fries trying to keep her awake, but it didn't work. she feel asleep with french fries in both hands! she woke up 90 minutes later (in her bed) and was upset. when i asked if she wanted more nuggets she said, "yes please. nuggets and french fries make me feel better."
i love my girl.

That is really impressive. I guess I should be watching Dora more often, or I guess I could just teach the kids Spanish hmmm. Too much work :)
How sweet. My little one loves nuggets and french fries too, usually she eats more fries than nuggets though!
Madison was into Baby Einsteins rather than Dora; she learned sign language from her videos-isn't it amazing what they pick up? That's so awesome-too bad Dora doesn't go on to conversational Spanish, she could be ready for college by 5!

Note to self: Learn Spanish to keep up with 2 year old. Love her!
I hope my kids pick up German. When they talk on the phone they could really confuse each other.
