recent pictures!

we can't find the charger for our bigger camera, and i think that's why i don't have too many picture of the kids right now. the little one is normally at the bottom of my diaper bag....

but here's what i have for you today, no more sappy, rambling, 'thoughts-from-heather-because-she-thinks-too-much-about-everything' for awhile- I promise!

i picked this adorable jumparoo up on craigslist for less than 1/2 of it's retail price. it's awesome! adam is yet to be totally sold on it; he only last about 5 minutes in the thing before he get really mad. he does seem to be enjoying it in the picture below, but i honestly think it over-stimulates him at this point. maybe in another month he'll really be able to jump like crazy and enjoy it.
he's sleeping like a champ, most nights. we are usually all asleep in bed by 10 and adam normally wakes me just before jenna does around 6 (which is the same time dave's alarm goes off for work). his favorite- favorite thing to do is take a bath. seriously, the kids can be in the middle of a crying fit and turn it off the second he touches the water, where he is all smiles. he's not quite as stingy with his smiles- finally- and will light up for most people when he's well feed and rested. he truly is a great addition to our family. i think we'll keep him. ;)

we can't forget jenna; jenna is our gem. a few weeks ago, she wanted to say the prayer. easy enough- i told her what to say and she repeated it. that lasted all of 3 days, before she did it herself. she started by saying, 'dear heavenly father. thank you day. bless dad at work. bless mom. bless baby adam. bless jenna. bless food. jesus name. amen.' ALL by herself! it brought tears to my eyes! now we have heard such things as, 'bless dad at home. bless baby adam sleeping. bless mom at home. bless monkey yogurt (the drinkable kids kind, with jungle animals on it).' it's fantastic! we were at jeff and lisa's for football the other night, and she blessed everyone in the room-
i finally bought the kids some play doh. it was less than $2, and she does fabulous at sitting next to me at the table, and keeping it in the pan. i'm trying to teach her how to roll it into balls, but she's not yet mastered it yet. we'll keep working on it.

we are headed to el paso for the weekend to spend time with my sister and her family. i'm anxious about the 5 hour car ride. jenna will be in tv heaven with her dvd player and dora, but the little guy just can't go that long without a couple breaks. hopefully all will be well- hopefully. :) i figure this is a good practice before our trip to san diego at the end of the month....

I like your sappy, rambling, 'thoughts-from-heather-because-she-thinks-too-much-about-everything'! But I also like kid stories and pix. In other words, I'll read anything you write. Just keep it up.

Have a fun and safe weekend. We'll miss you on Monday, but know we must share you with others! Jenna is so grown up, her speech is truly amazing! I loved when she went up to Dave last night and said, Dad, how was your work? It was so clear. Keep the blog coming, I love them and read every one.
