while in phoenix over Christmas weekend, we went to the
train park in scottsdale. we {or really, i} had heard great things about it. it was a 45 minute drive from my parents house, but the kids had a blast, and the weather was bea-u-tiful! if you are not familiar with the park, it has a couple of trains for the kids and parents to ride, along with a carousel, all smack dab in the middle of a really great park. big trees, neat playground equipment, ducks- what more could you ask for?!

it was a fun way to spend the afternoon and it didn't cost us more than $10 in tickets.
we will be back again.

Did you get to see the Christmas lights at night? We went with Joe, Brooke and boys when we were up for Joe's graduation. It was beautiful. Looks fun in the daytime also.
The picture of the big boys in that little train is really funny. I giggled. :)
That place rocks our socks off. Living in Phoenix has its perks.
