jenna's surprise

last saturday, dave ran out to get a few more tools for our kitchen painting project. on his way back home, he notices the excitement over at our community club house just up the street. he came in, and told me there were 'p-o-n-y rides' and if he could take her over. it was nap time, and we had already had a busy morning, but i just couldn't not let him take her. i stayed home with adam, and helped jenna get her sunglasses and shoes on to go with her dad. we didn't tell her what she was going to do, just that it was a surprise.

dave said they rounded the corner, and she just lite up when she saw the ponies. she rode FOUR times and jumped in the jumping castle all by herself.
they came home nearly an hour later and she told me all about her adventure. her exact words were, 'i rode the horsy four times. i want to go one more time please. please?'
what a fun day for our girl! i'm just a little jealous that i wasn't there to experience it with her, but am excited that her dad didn't pass up the chance for her.
