family weekend in review

   on friday night, we did something we haven’t done in a really long time; we ordered pizza. i had asked dave to make us pizza, but he ran out of time on thursday night to start the dough. the kids and i had also picked up Toy Story 3 earlier in the week, and we're waiting to watch it with their dad. movie and pizza? sounds like a party! i spread out a couple towels and we had a pizza party while watching the movie. jenna loved it, as did david and i (i may or may not have cried a couple times), and adam watched off and on. i’ve included the self-timer picture::   on saturday morning, we dropped dave’s car off for an oil change, and then went to work cleaning out the garage. it’s crazy how quick it can get cluttered and unorganized! we spent a little more than an hour outside moving things around, throwing things away, and moving things into the attic crawl space. all the while our kiddos dug in the rocks. good times. we are so glad we did it and have smiled each time we have entered the garage since the clean up.
   adam’s been teething again (read, not sleeping). he’ll go down for a nap and be up crying 20 minutes later (we are not discussing the last few nights). i rescued him and let him cuddle up next to me, where we both slept for more than an hour. i’m glad dave took this picture, even if i am all saturday grubby.
