We’re happy!
I’ve been trying to find jobs around the house that Jenna can do. Since she often reminds us that she is a big girl now, we figured it was time for her to start pulling her weight (wink, wink). When she’s done at the table, we ask her to take her plate to the kitchen. And she is single-handedly in charge of folding the hand towels and washcloths. This is a job that she gets excited about!
We use lots of washcloths in hopes of reducing our paper towel use… it does help, but we have a ton!
The white ones are for the bath and all the colored ones go in the kitchen, hence her two piles.
She picked up the hand towel and told me it was too big for her to fold. I told her that they get folded the same as the small one- flat, in a square and then another square. She quickly corrected me and said that you fold it into a RECTANGLE first and then a square. Of course- silly mom who apparently failed at multitasking this one time…
I’m grateful for the help, even if she is smarter than me at times.

Awesome. My kids' first chore was dusting. Lucy still loves it. Putting away the clean silverware is a good first job too.
My kids love the dust pan and think it is awesome to clean up their crumbs. Rich has learned it fun to unload the dishwasher too. Good job Jenna!
Jenna is adorable, too the point it kinda makes me sick! I love her!!!!
This is so sweet! We really need to have Michael do more around our house, like helping me with laundry. He would really love that, or not.
What a good little helper Jenna is. Her folding looks good!
