our park

this is the view from the gate of our park. our house is the second one in (you can see it’s tall roof). it takes us all of 2 minutes to get from our house to the swings- and it’s perfect.

i love all the shade and greenery. the grass has a sidewalk all the way around it, and we keep talking about bringing jenna’s bike over.

when we first came in the other day, there were bunnies everywhere in the grass. of course they went running when both kids tried to catch them.  

the bunnies ran through the fence into the wash, and jenna and adam were right at the fence to call them back. they would give up and go back to play, and the bunnies would come back. repeat. it was fun to watch.

i was trying to capture just how beautiful it is out here. i love these mountains…

adam’s favorite are the swings. he says, “swings mama. push. higher. higher.”

jenna constantly wants help with the monkey bars or help getting the wood chips out of her shoes.

sadly, it’s already too hot to spend much time our here. we came over the other day after dinner when it was overcast and it was surprisingly pleasant. come fall, i’m sure we’ll be playing often.
