Intuit's CEO Sales Club published this picture of the trip winner for
this year. David and I are SUPER excited to spend a long weekend in Hawaii this October. We are staying at the same resort on Waikiki
that we did in 2010, and going with the same co-worker and his
wife that went with us that year. It will be a good time!
Anyone want to watch our kids?? (seriously.)
David couldn't stop dreaming about this car, so we made it happen.
I am glad that he lets me drive it every once and a while
because it's AMAZING. We both love it.
(It's a 2013 Subaru outback)
He's enjoying his commute much more and smiling upon
getting home, even after a few rough days.
He got a huge discount on a ski rack, so hopefully we'll find time
to hit the slopes this season.
Jenna is loving 1st grade and doing well with the challenging work.
She's had a few days of too many reminders to stay on task and
for the life of me, I can't figure out where she gets that (wink, wink).
She is looking forward to her birthday and talks about it daily,
including which gifts she can't decide between and weather
or not we should plan a surprise party for her.
She has finally realized that she can read, and I've even found her
Reading to herself a few times.
Adam is hilarious, as always. He watches far too much tv without
Jenna home to entertain him. He looks forward to preschool days,
and seems to be doing really well. I've been asking
him to help me a little more with chores, and he's been willing.
Every Sunday, he insist on matching his dad. If David wears a
blue shirt, so must Adam. If David wears a belt and tie, Adam
will too. Just yesterday I made him a blue tie so that he doesn't always
have to wear the one red tie he has. Along with Jenna, he's been working
on memorizing the first three Articles of Faith. He can do the first
and second, and barely need help with the third.
Megan is fantastically busy and learning new tricks every day.
She's been watching her brother, and now likes to climb up
on the arms of the couch. She is super close to being able to climb up
on the kitchen chairs, so I'm sure she'll be standing on the counter tops
before we know it. She has about a dozen words that she'll repeat
after us, and is learning more 'tricks' each day. She regularly sleeps
13 hours each night, and is such a joy in the mornings. She LOVES to read
books and play outside. We drive carpool a few times during the week
and Megan couldn't be happier to have a bunch of bigger kids in the
car trying to make her laugh.
David and I have commented many times in the last few weeks just how wonderful life is. We really love these three small people and also love our evenings together after they are tucked in.
....Thanks for catching up....

thank you for helping us all catch up. They are so cute, but then look at their parents. Loved the post.
