a long trip home

we finally made it home! we got off the boat at about 8:30am yesterday morning, and had to take a bus from vancouver to the seattle airport. what should have been a 3 hour drive, became nearly a 5 hour trip due to back ups at the border. we got to the airport and were able to catch the earlier flight into phoenix. we grabbed our first things to eat that day besides a small loaf of sour dough bread we bought in seattle, and boarded the plane. the flight lasted just over 2 hours. it took another hour to get off the plane, get our luggage, and catch the van to our car. and then what should have been 2 hours to get home to tucson became three thanks to super slow service at carls jr and jenna not being asleep. dave unpacked all the dirty clothes and i gave jenna a bath, and by about 9:30am we were all fast asleep. what a day! i will be adding pictures throughout the day, as i wash lots of laundry and make a serious grocery list. (those are tulips that were everywhere around the space needle.)
