we got home from dinner and it was already after seven. we needed to have quick baths so that we could get ready for bed. jenna did not want to take a bath. even a bubble bath, which is just not like her. i took off her clothes as she yelled and screamed and stomped her feet. i put her on the potty as she yelled and screamed and stomped her feet. she went to the bathroom as she yelled and screamed and kicked her legs. i lifted her into the tub as she continued to yell and scream. i sang primary songs as i washed her up, all while- you guessed it- she kicked and screamed. she threw an all out fit! it was hilarious to me! only because she has only thrown maybe 3 fits in her entire life of this multitude. well it didn't end as i lifted her out of the bath. she still kept screaming that she didn't want to take a bath. we dried her off and got her pajama's on, as she stilled yelled at david and i. we read books, which stopped the fit for a few minutes. we sang songs, while she sat with a grumpy face and refused to sing with us. we said our prayers and tucked her into bed. the fit began again. she didn't want to go to bed. we left her to cry; she got up. we cuddled with her til she was almost asleep; she cried the moment we tucked her in. i asked if she wanted to sleep in adam's crib, to which she said, 'yes'. so i did it. i tucked her into the crib and walked away.
an hour later, dave went to move her so i could lay the sleeping adam down. and what did jenna do? she opened her eyes, looked at her dad, and said, 'hoooonkkkkkk shhhhhhoooooe' with her eyes WIDE open! she was pretending to sleep! we both laughed, tucked the kids in and didn't hear from them until morning (i am purposely forgetting the 12:30 feeding).
david and i laughed ourselves to sleep last night. how silly is our girl??!!

That is the story to tell at her wedding! In the meantime, keep laughing, it's the best!

I don't know whether to be impressed that you can laugh during her fits or that she has thrown so few fits until now. Either way, very cute!
