i have a few things that i keep thinking that need to be documented, but i don't want this blog to be ALL about the kids ALL the time. while, yes, they are fabulous, and consume most of my life, i have lots of other thoughts too. so here i will quickly list a few kid things i don't plan to blog any more about::
1. jenna likes to go potty. she's not at all consistent, but she does it at least 3 times each day. the other morning she asked to poop on the potty and did. but when i ask if she wants to wear pull-ups, she says no.
2. adam has not been sleeping super fabulously the last month. this is only alarming to me because he was sleeping fabulously before that. i had the thought just this past weekend that maybe he's telling me he's ready for solids. we *tried* yesterday, and while he didn't seem to like it all that much, he still ate it. and........... he slept 11 straight hours last night! crazy, but i guess i was reading him right. he was just hungry and milk wasn't cutting it.
3. jenna got her first hair cut and i didn't have any desire to save even a little bit of her hair.
4. i saw a friend the other day that i haven't seen in almost a year, and realized that it's okay if we only see each other once a year. does that make me a bad friend that i don't want to hang out much more than that?
5. i am reading again!!! which is huge! i took some time off since having #2, and a few weeks ago fell in love with reading again. i have reserved a dozen books at the library and can't wait to read them! and since the kids are asleep by 9, I have time to read too! yippee! (sorry for all the exclamation points)
6. dave and i are hardly watching tv any more. is that bad? i can't even name 5 shows that i have to see each week. i love not having a dvr.
7. i need to buy adam more pajama's. he is almost too big for the 6-9 month ones he's in now and i really really want some fluffy winter time ones.
8. still not totally sure about the little guys halloween costume. my sister loaned me the one her little kids wore, but i was hoping for something super creative. i'll keep you posted.

I love that you love to read. And I'm totally jealous that Jenna is so interested in the potty - already!
I love seeing these insights into your life and brain. Even I was there, these would be good to read.
I was going through all my costumes the other day and have several that could be used by Adam: rabbit, bear, puppy, piglet... and maybe others. Come see them if you want...
