childrens museum

i was able to meet up with a dear friend (my mentor teacher from the days of teaching 1st grade) at the childrens museum this week. she watches her grandkids often during the week, so it was fun to do something kid centered. i wish i would have gotten a picture of all of us together.... but no. just the kids having fun....here's happy Adam and Landon just chillin' in their strollers. baby landy was content 99% of the time in his stroller, while adam was itching to get out and have some fun {translate fun as: anxious to put things in his mouth}.
there were TONS of people at the museum with us. maybe due to TUSD's spring break and the ominous rain clouds that scared us away from a zoo day... regardless, the kids (Jenna and James) had to wait to get on this motorcycle and probably would have stayed there for an hour if we didn't remove them in an effort to allow the other kids a turn.adam didn't stay in his stroller long. he was excited about the train room and the fact that there were things that he was allowed to touch at his level.i thought this exhibit was really neat- it was a giant 'operation' board. i'll have to show this to uncle aaron and see if they every used something like this as a simulator before surgery.
James fell in love with Jenna- and Jenna with James- during our 2 hour museum date. we drove to the nearest mcdonalds, in our separate cars, and the ENTIRE way, jenn kept asking about james. very cute and very fun!
