this rain was fabulous! we opened up the window and let the kids soak it in. {that is until the neighbors went out for a smoke- yuck!}
thankfully, i found adam some warm fluffy pajama's, and jenna had a pair of hand-me-downs from a cousin- so we were set the other night. heater and footy pajama's= finally necessary.
next step, put up the decorations! yippee!
*** on another note, i have been trying to figure out where to put the tree in our living room. we've done some rearranging since last year, and it won't work the same way. in an effort to make room, we took the baby swing apart. it was a little sad. he hardly ever uses it anymore (mainly because he's just too big and busy), but i liked having it there. taking it down kinda means that i don't have a new baby around anymore. -sniff, sniff- i think i'll be okay. as i was taping the box up, i found myself wondering when we would be putting it together again. don't be confused by that statement- i am in absolutely NO RUSH at all to add another to this family, but we know there will be others. for now, it's getting packed away- to make room for CHRISTMAS!! ***

I agree with the cold weather, I love it!! And I was super excited to put Preston in his super cute warm footy pjs that have just been sitting in his drawer because it's been too warm.
Yea for cool weather! We went to the Grand Canyon in Oct and Cambria got out her cold PJs for that. She has insisted on wearing them periodically, since, and always wakes up sweaty. Now maybe they will actually be useful!
Yeah for the cold weather...it's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas...could be coming. I totally agree. Love the pictures and stories too.
Sorry that comment was me...picked the wrong thing.
It was a beutiful storm. I was shocked to wake up to rain before a night shift. So glad to hear you guys enjoyed it as well.
We struggle with where to put the tree every year. Just now I was looking at it thinking, "Maybe if we moved it over there..."
